Postit is a social blog for sharing posts and photos with friends. Each post can be set to public, private or friends-only, aiming for a cozy sharing space unlike a fully open social network.
There are two feeds: "Community" gathers other people's posts, and "All" gathers your own.
Story, Drawing, Daily, Post Office
Every post goes into one of four categories: Story, Drawing, Daily or Post Office. In the editor you style your writing and add photos and YouTube videos.
How you show yourself, how you make friends
Your profile keeps an @handle (username) and the name shown on screen (nickname) separate, and you can customize your avatar. Friend requests, accepting, declining and unfriending all go by @handle. You sign in with a Google or Instagram account.
How it is built
Uploaded photos are kept in storage that is not public and only appear on screen through the Postit service.
